(One of our customers had passed the 14 day return date when he decided to go for something else lighter in weight). This Custom Historic 1952 J-185 is enhanced with a Thermally Aged Sitka spruce top and gorgeous flame maple back and sides. Sporting classic J-185 appointments including iconic maltese crosses inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the open slot bridge. A rare model, but highly desired by artist and performers worldwide. Flamed Maple back and sides. Thermally aged spruce top. Multi-ply binding top and back. V-Profile Mahogany neck with 20 frets 12” radius Rosewood fingerboard and Mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays. Factory bone nut with a nut width of 1.725" / 43.81mm. The scale length is 24.75” or 628.65mm. Belly up bridge with Maltese crosses. Goth Keystone gold tuners. The guitar weighs  4.37Lb or 1.985Kg. Factory fitted under bridge pickup system. Great player and great feel as expected from this gorgeous instrument. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case, tags and everything that was in the case when first purchased.
