We are very pleased to offer for sale this 2012 Gibson Les Paul STD Collector's Choice #4 Sandy - 1959 Replica. The CC#4 is an exact replica of renowned collector Tom Wittrock’s 1959 Les Paul Standard Serial #9-1228. Released in 2012 after Gibson meticulously scanned the original guitar to copy the top carve, wear patterns and faded “Dirty Lemon Burst finish. One-piece genuine mahogany back body. Hand-selected, highly figured flame maple top finished in dirty Lemon Burst  "Sandy" Burst VOS. One piece mahogany neck Profile: ’59 C “Sandy” , carved using digital scans of the original's profile.
Set in neck, Long Tenon and Hide Glue Fit, with a 50’s Tubeless truss rod. 
Nylon nut and a nut width of 42.5mm approx
12” radius Hide Glue Fit Rosewood fingerboard with Cellulose Nitrate Trapezoid inlays. Two Gibson Custom Bucker Alnico III humbucker pickups both for neck and bridge. (Custom Voiced To the Original Guitar PAF)
3 way toggle switch, 2x volume and 2 x tone controls with a hand-wired loom and Bumblebee capacitors.
Nickel-plated ABR1 bridge, lightweight stop bar and Gibson Deluxe Green Keystone tuners. Only 50 VOS were made for this model, this guitar is in barely played condition and only shows one tiny mark on the top edge of the body.
