2007 MARTIN BCPA4 - ACOUSTIC BASS. This very nice BCPA4 boasts solid tonewood construction, with back and sides of satin-finished sapele and a glossy polished top cut from tight-grained Sitka spruce. The body exudes a nicely understated elegance with its simple black Boltaron binding, a two-ring black-and-white rosette and an unbound ebony neck. Very comfortable and easy to play, very light at 5.3 sounds or 2.4 kilos, 40mm nut width, this feels like the perfect play at home practicing bass but equally just at home on a stage, such a clear strong acoustic sound. Has an onboard tuner and Fishman pick up system, what’s not to like about this magnificent bass!
