2006 Fender Highway 1 Telecaster HW2 60 Diamond badge. This is a first year (crossover year) of the highway one telecaster with the introduction of this 2nd version model and also as the last version of the Highway 1 before the introduction of the American special in 2010. The HW1 was discontinued a year or so later. Alder body finished in Honey Blonde matt Nitrocellulose instead of Acrylic as on the previous V1 models.
Maple neck with a maple fingerboard and satin finish, 22 medium Jumbo frets, dot inlays and a nut width of 43mm. The frets are in good condition and show minimal sign of wear. Standard Fender Ping cast sealed tuners not staggered. 
Hot Single Coil Alnico 3, 1 Metal Covered and 1 with the 6 Pole Black bobbin.
3 Chrome Saddles Chrome bridge.
The controls are 1 x Volume, 1 X tone on a 3 way toggle switch with a grease bucket circuitry. 8 Hole 3-ply pickguard. This guitar weighs 7.76Lb or 3.52Kg. Excellent player and very good sounding Telecaster. In good overall condition, it shows some paint chips and light marks on the body (refer to images). Comes with a generic rectangular hardshell case.
