2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry sunburst. Fantastic Les Paul from the the mid 2000s before they introduced Full weight relief. Mahogany body and carved flame Maple top. 1960s profile Mahogany neck with a 12” radius fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. The frets are in great shape and show minimal sign of wear. The pickups on this are Alnico V, which are perhaps some of the nicest pickups Gibson ever made. It does sound very very good, lots of bite and fullness. Nickel hardware, Vintage style Keystone tuners, stop tail and Nashville bridge. Cream plastics and gold knobs. This guitar does also come with the cream scratch plate and bracket, which was never installed so the top does not have any holes. The finish has started ageing nicely, no breaks, repairs or scratches. Very very clean beside a couple of little marks on the top. One by the toggle switch, some over the stop tail and a tiny pin size one where the scratch-plate would be. These are very small indentations and hard to see or photograph. You can only see them if you do catch the light at an angle. The nut width is 42mm. This guitar weighs 4.485kg or 9.88Lb. Comes with the original black/grey hardshell case, scratch plate and user manual.
