2002 Gibson Custom Shop 1968 -Re-Issue. From the Custom and historic Art collection. The guitar is used and has wear, we are not sure how much ageing it might have had when it was new. Mahogany body and neck. Maple top. Ebony Fretboard. The frets are in good shape and show minor signs of pitting and wear. The neck is a big profile, large U shape. More like an R8 than a 68. But then, they never did a 68 in white either. The pickups are Gibson PAF sticker Humbuckers. The wiring is 50s and it looks like one of the capacitors has been changed. It has a Bumble bee (PIO) at the bridge and what looks like a Mylar at the neck. Grover tuners, tarnished but working perfectly. The nut width is 44mm. The guitar weighs 10.2 Lbs or 4.62Kg. Comes with the original CS art and historic case. No COA.
