1998 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Classic Collection. Late 90s Custom Shop Stratocaster in amazing condition. This guitar was part of a limited run of guitars commissioned by Arbiter the UK Fender distributor.  It is a very small run of guitars produced in the custom shop at the time when John Page and Vince Cunetto were at the Fender Custom Shop. Technically speaking these Strats are very similar to the 'Classic Player' models of that time. Great looking 2 piece Ash body nicely booked matched. Slim C profile Birds eye Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard. The frets are in excellent shape and show no sign of wear. The tuners are Locking Spretzel/Fender style. 2 Point synchronised tremolo with Vintage style saddles. CS Noiseless pickups (same as the ones found on the Clapton models.) The guitar is in amazing condition throughout and has very few minimal marks that are impossible to photograph and can be seen just under the right light.
The knobs have been changed to an original Fender white set, the originals are in the case. There is a small split on one of them, can still be used and put back if you wish. The guitar weighs 8.3Lb or 3.78Kg. The nut width is 44mm. The guitar has a replacement Certificate which was reissued in 2020.
Comes with the original black tolex case.
