1987 Gibson ES335 TD DOT. Fantastic 80s ES 335 in Sunburst finish. Bound Maple body, 60s profile Bound Mahogany neck with a 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with DOT markers. The nut width is 42.5mm. The frets are in good shape although they do show some wear and some light pitting. The pickups are stamped PAT number pickups. The guitar has just had a new set of NOS Gibson Deluxe tuners put on as the old tuners were no longer working properly. This guitar also had a set of Grover tuners installed at some stage, as there is the shape of the Grover’s under the current heads. No extra drilling as both do retrofit perfectly, although the Grovers do have only one screw and they will show the Klusons top screw hole. It is hard to say what tuners this left the factory with. The guitar weighs 3.9Kg or 8.6Lb. Excellent player and in very good overall condition beside some light marks. No breaks or repairs. Comes with the original brown case.
