Mahogany body with laminated cutaways.
Carved Maple top. Neck-through-body with a T-Cross maple and mahogany central structure. 3-piece laminated maple and mahogany neck with a 13.75” radius ebony fingerboard. Mother-of-Pearl split-wing (chevron) inlays and 22 frets. 
The nut width is approx 43mm. The overall scale light is 628.7mm.
Loaded with 2 Yamaha Alnico V anti-hum high-output humbuckers.
2 x Volume, 2 x Tone and "Push-Push" tone pots allow you to split the humbucker coils for a brighter single-coil tone on this S model 
Gold-plated hardware throughout including Yamaha Japan sealed 15:1 tuners and engraved stop-bar. 
 
These guitars were known as Les Paul killers for a good reason, they are absolutely fantastic instruments to play and they do sound incredible. 
The downside is the weight as they tend to be on the heavy side, hence may people use them in the studio and you most likely unknowingly have heard them on may records too. This guitar weighs 9.76Lb Or 4.43Kg (actually lighter than others we've had in! ) 
 
In very good condition throughout, however the paint job looks like it had some kind of reaction and the lacquer has some haze to it, nothing structural and the paint is solid.
