1981 Gibson X MV-10 Twilight Blue. Only produced between 1981 and early 1984 this is a first year model. The MV is a set neck double cutaway electric with a solid Hardrock maple body and a 3 piece maple neck. Bound 22 fret, 14” radius Ebony fingerboard and off-set pearl dot inlays. Width at nut 1 11/16". 2 x Tim Shaw designed high-output zebra coil humbuckers, "Magna Plus" on the neck, a "Super Stack” HB on the middle position and a "Magna Plus B" at the bridge. Designed to have a multitude of different sounds as the MV stands for “Multi-Voice”. And the X as in roman number 10 is to describe the 10 sonic options available. 1 x Volume, 1 x Tone controls on a 5 way selector switch and a coil tap switch.

Length 18 15/16", width 13", depth 1 3/4". These guitars were produced in the Kalamazoo plant at this time and moved to Nashville in the later production.
Tune O Matic top adjust bridge with brass inserts. This guitar weighs 4.43Kg or 9.77Lb. In very good condition throughout, beside some lacquer checking, some milker marks and some light wear. There is a slight dark patch on the finish showing on the top horn. Please refer to images. No breaks or repairs. Comes with the original rectangular Gibson hardshell case.
