1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Fantastic Les Paul Custom in Ivory white finish. The top has been professionally refinished by “Bow Finishing” as it did have a few marks previously. Maple top and double bound mahogany body. Very comfortable profile Mahogany neck with a 12” radius ebony fingerboard and a nut width of 42mm approx. The frets are a bit on the low side for some players although there is enough even for a future fret dress. MOP inlays, diamond inlay on the bound headstock. In good overall condition beside some expected wear. 
 
This guitar weighs 4.62Kg or 10.19Lb. The pickups are stamped PAT numbers and do date 1979. The bridge volume pot has been changed at some point in time, the other pots are original and date 8th week of 1979. The metal plate and casing for the pots has been removed and it is no longer present. The gold hardware does show some tarnishing and wear, especially the bridge where the palm rests. It is all functional and works as it should. A newest of strap buttons have been also fitted. Comes with the original brown tolex hardshell case. Amazing player and great sound.
