1979 Fender Stratocaster Blonde. Alder body, 3 bolt, bullet truss rod, late 70s profile Maple neck with a maple fingerboard. The nut width is 41mm approx. The nut was also replaced at some stage. (Probably when the re-fret was done). The guitar has had a refret with jumbo frets. There is wear and lacquer chips on the neck (see images). The neck It is comfortable to the touch and the chipping can be barely felt. Chrome Fender “F” Tuners & Chrome tremolo bridge.

The pickups are factory grey bottoms, factory wiring and the pots do look right, although we can not date any as there is solder over the digits. The ground wires on the volume pot have been re-soldered at some stage.
1 x Volume and 2 x Tone controls on a 5 way toggle switch. The pickguard serial sticker does match it to the guitar serial number. This guitar weighs 3.935Kg or 8.68Lb. Good player and mellow sounding in position 2 & 4. Comes with a non original hardshell case.
