This is an incredibly rare model S-OM45 Martin. Another top of the range model in terms of spec and quality. The body is solid East Indian Rosewood. Sitka Spruce top with an Ebony fingerboard. Factory gold tuners.
Full Abalone inlay on all the body edges and Hexagonal inlays on the fingerboard.
The overall condition of the guitar is very good. There are little signs of playing ware.
Condition is excellent through out, no splits or damage.
The guitar weighs 4.46 Lb or 2.020 Kg with very comfortable nut width of 43 mm.
This body size is different to that of a 000 or 00 Martin and tonally there is a difference. It is very unusual to find one, especially a 45 spec in this model.
The only slight issue is that like a lot of Martin’s from this era, the pickguard is prone to shrinkage. There is evidence of this but the guard is in good shape.
The guitar comes with a non original moulded hardshell case. Very like a Martin one.
