1976 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass. Here we have a stunning example of a Ricky 4001 dating august 1976 in Burgundyglo finish. Beside being a classic when talking about 4001s this bass is in fantastic condition throughout, very very clean no repairs and all original. Incredible player and stunning to look at, recently professionally set up with a frret-dress so there is no fret wear. Solid bound maple body with a Maple neck-thru construction, rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and pearl triangle inlays. 
33.25" overall scale length and a nut width of 43mm. Dual single coil hi-gain pickups, 2 x Volume, 2 x Tone, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The pots do date 5th and 6th week of 1976, untouched wiring and all factory electrics. Mono standard and Stereo "Rick-O-Sound” jack O/Ps.
