1973 GIBSON SG Standard. Great early 70s SG in what looks like walnut but is a totally Faded cherry finish. Mahogany body, 3 piece mahogany neck with volute.
Typical 70s Gibson nut width at 40mm. With a 12” radius ebony fingerboard and pearl block inlays. Original Gibson Schaller tuners. Chrome bridge, stop bar and pickup covers. The pickups are tar backed Humbuckers. Probably T-tops and they do sound incredible on this one. Usual 2 x Volume and 2 x tone controls on a 3 way toggle switch. !! The poker chip is missing. The Pots do date 44th week of 1973. This guitar Weighs 3.0kg or 6.6 Lb.
