1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Early 70s Les Paul Custom in Ebony finish.
In good overall condition beside a small headstock repair which did not even need a refin/paint work. This guitar was also marked as factory second when new due to some minor finish blemish of sort which is now totally irrelevant . Usual Maple top and mahogany sandwich body. Mahogany neck with a 12” radius Ebony fingerboard and 22 medium frets. The frets are in great condition as it was refretted not long ago. The fingerboard also has a nice streak of brown on the first 3 frets, the nut width is the usual 42.5mm approx. Original Pat Number sticker Humbuckers, pickup surrounds and scratch plate.All the wiring is also stock, loaded with black beauty caps. Original pocket chip, and speed knobs. Gold plated lightweight stop bar and Gibson ABR1 wire bridge. The tuners have been changed to a set of milk bottle nickel Grovers. The lower bout strap button has been changed to a new one. The jack O/P plate was changed to a larger metal plate, a smaller regular plate can be reinstated however the extra holes would have to be filled. The truss rod is in perfect working order.
