1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Fantastic early 70s Les Paul deluxe in non faded Cherry sunburst. Pancake mahogany body, 3 piece maple top and slim taper 3 piece maple neck with volute. 12” radius bound Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. This guitar was refretted at some stage and the frets are in good shape. 2 x Gibson embossed mini humbuckers.
Usual 2x volume and 2 x tone controls on a 3 way toggle switch.Gold reflector knobs and cream plastics.Chrome stop bar and bridge. The bridge is an MIJ bridge, possibly changed at some point in time.The pots that can be dated date to 11th week of 1972 and 27th week of 1970.Black beauty caps and all original untouched wiring.In very good condition throughout beside some buckle rush at the back and some minor marks here and there.
