1971 Gibson SG Type 2 Walnut with Vibrola. Great early 70s SG type 2. Mahogany body. Bound 70s profile 3 piece mahogany neck with volute and 14 degree headstock angle. 12” Radius Rosewood fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays. The guitar has had a pro re-fret at some point in time, the frets are in excellent shape and show minimal sign of wear. Chrome/nickel hardware.  Vibrola Vibrato system, ABR 1 with Nylon saddles. Gibson Double line tulip machine heads. Thew guitar has had different tuners at some stage as you can see the washer lines on the headstock. (No extra holes were drilled). Original tuners have been reinstated. There pickups are Sticker Pat Numbers. 

The wiring is stock, the pots do date 1971 where the date is not covered by solder. 

3 Way toggle switch,  2 x volume controls and 2 x Tone controls. Witch hat knobs, (one has been replaced). Some dings and light scratches, no breaks or repairs. The scratch plate has a small split on the top corner (it has been glued). The nut width is 40mm.

The guitar weighs 7.48Lb or 3.39Kg. Very good player and fantastic sounding SG!
