1968 Fender Telecaster. Alder body finished in blonde. B profile Maple neck with a maple cap fingerboard. The frets have been changed at some point in time and they are jumbo frets. It was recently fully serviced with a fret dress so the frets are in perfect shape. There is plenty of material left for future dresses.
The bridge has been changed to an ashtray type with steel saddles as this guitar was originally a bigsby fitted Tele. Original Fender stamped tuners. The bridge pickup has also been changed, the neck is still factory. The volume pot was also changed around 1978 as it dates 51st week of 78, the tone pot is still factory and dates 17th week of 1966. Original 3 way toggle switch. The knobs are repro as well as the toggle tip (not in photo). One of the original knobs is still present in the case.The strap buttons have also been replaced at some stage.The nut width is 41.5mm. The guitar weighs 3.64Kg or 8Lb. In players grade, please refer to photos for the condition. It is an excellent player and it does show by the amount of use it’s had.
