1966 Fender Stratocaster. Stunning example of a '66 Strat in excellent and original condition. Alder body finished in 3 tone sunburst. 4 bolt mid 60s profile Maple neck with a 7.25” Radius Rosewood fingerboard. 21 medium jumbo frets and pearl dot inlays. The frets do show some pitting, some sting indentation on the last 3 on the B string and general playing wear. There is enough for a fret dress if required. Transition logo and large CBS headstock. Original Nickel Kluson deluxe tuners and string tree. Chrome bridge and output jack plate. The pickups are grey bobbins and all date to Nov 8th 1966 and the reading from the jack O/P is: Bridge 6.47K, Mid 6K and neck 5.65K. The pots are CTS and all date 49th week of 1965. Original 3 way toggle switch. All wiring under the guard is factory and untouched. White pickguard and single ply naturally aged white back plate. The back plate has a corner missing, otherwise there is no cracks. The guitar does show playing wear and a few minor marks, there is no scratches or major dings. The nut width is 41mm approx. The guitar weighs 8.12Lb or 3.685Kg. Comes with the original black tolex hardshell case which is also in great condition throughout. Fantastic sounding and great player!! !!
