1965 Fender Stratocaster in 3 tone Sunburst. Here we have a nice 1965 Strat that has had a bit of work done under the guard, hence the price. Alder body finished in Nitro 3 tone sunburst.!! The body was routed for humbuckers at some stage and then the routes were re-constructed. The route was filled with wood and re-routed as normal. The part that was re-done also has been refinished. The rest of the finish on the guitar is original. 
Typical September date stamp1965 profile maple neck with a 7.25” rosewood fingerboard. The nut width is 42mm approx. The guitar has also benefitted from a recent professional re-fret and the frets do show minimal to no wear. The pickups are original grey bottoms and are dated 10-17-65. The pots and switch have been changed to modern pots, 5 way toggle and the cap is a PIO type. The scratch plate is a repro as the original did probably get cut when the humbuckers are fitted. Pickups covers and knobs are correct. There is no tremolo backplate. Repro American vintage machine heads. In good overall condition beside the aforementioned. Comes with a white Hiscox hardshell case.
