1964 Gibson SG Junior in Cherry. Stunning example of a mid 60s SG junior in all original condition beside the tailpiece/wraparound. Very clean, no breaks and an amazing player like some of these are. Mahogany body and neck. 12” radius unbound rosewood fingerboard with Dot inlay. The frets are in excellent shape and show minimal sign of wear. There is also plenty left for future dressings. Wraparound bridge/tailpiece.  This is an uncompensated repro bridge. Original 3 a side kluson deluxe tuners. Original black reflector knobs. All the wiring is stock and untouched. Both pots do date to 1964, looks like 21st week of. (the week is slightly covered by a wire/solder and not easy to see, one pot has it completely covered). The pickguard is original and in very good shape beside a small split on the knobs side edge and a slight curvature. The curvature could be easily re-flattened with some heat and pressure if required. The nut width is 43mm approx. The guitar weighs 5.87Lb or 2.66Kg. There is some light playing wear, a couple of small dings, a small lacquer chip where the neck sits in the case, just behind fret 11. Some paint missing also on the top edge side of the headstock and a couple of little scratches on the lower bout near the back edge.  Please refer to the images. Comes with the period correct Gibson hardshell case.
