Here is fantastic original finish Sunburst Stratocaster from 1963.Th guitar has aged beautifully and the ware on the finish is all authentic. This is what a relic Strat should look like! There is a fair degree of arm playing ware and a few large scratches but overall condition. Is fair to good. There is quite a bit of belt buckle ware and the guitar is really nicely weather checked all over. The guitar finish has retained a lot of its three tone sunburst and the cherry has not faded out. The green Nitro pickguard has the customary split on the top screw of the neck pick up, but still functions perfectly well. The veneer board neck does show playing ware at the lower end of the neck. The playability is very good and the guitar has had a very good refret with the same fret wire as an original. Clay dot markers on the fingerboard are in good shape as well. Nut width is 42mm and weighs 7.7 pounds or 3.5 kgs. The electrics do look stock, black back pick ups and waxed cloth. The routing is absolutely correct and the pencil marks are still visible. The pots all date to 40th week of 1963 and the neck date stamp is October 63 B.Comes with an original white Tolex case.Get £400 off the website price by purchasing this direct with bank transfer instead of PayPal. eMail/Call for details
