Here is a really cool example of a 1963 J45. The sunburst finish has faded out to a Honey colour on the top but has retained the cherry on the Mahogany back and sides. The guitar is weather checked throughout and looks great. Overall condition is fair to good and the guitar is structurally intact.
There is a side jack socket hole where there was a pick up which has since been removed. The bridge has been changed for a very high quality reproduction which is fitted with a compensated saddle. Overall playability and intonation is excellent. This is one of the best soundingJ45’s we have had through in a while.
Original strip Kluson tuners. The guitar weighs 2.125 Kg or 4.69 Lb. Nut width is 43mm so its not the super skinny width of the later sixties models. Comes with hard-shell case.
