1962 FENDER PRECISION FIESTA RED - SLAB BOARD
 
We are very pleased to be able to offer for sale this magnificent example of a Pre CBS Slab board Fender Precision in original Fiesta Red finish. Body finish and pickguard are 100% original, as is all the hardware. Has a beautiful dark Rosewood slab board. Plays superbly as it has benefited enormously from having received a full set up and service from guitar repair guru Andy Warnock, where these internal shots were taken prior to the excellent set up.
We’ve known the history of this bass going back many years, it really is everything you’d expect and more from a vintage Fender bass. Neck date is April 62, currently fitted with flat wounds and comes with period correct ‘white’ tolex case, both pots date 52nd week of 1961. Weight is 8.8 pounds and the nut width is 44 mm ’C’ Neck.
