This is a really nice example of a 1960 Gibson ES 330 TD in sunburst.
This is the first variant of this model and still has the Dot inlay neck.
The guitar comes with two black dog eared P90’s and a floating trapeze tailpiece. The hardware is Nickel and is in good condition through out. The body finish shows weather checking on the back and front, and there is a small factory 2 stamp on the rear of the headstock. (This generally referred to an imperfection in the body finish, not the guitar.) The neck profile is a wider slimmer cut than that of a ’59, but it is incredibly easy to play. The neck has had a pro re-fret with similar gauge fret wire. The nut width is 44mm and it weighs a very comfortable 2.72 Kg or 6 Lbs. The batch FON letter is R. The overall condition is very good for a 61 year old instrument and is one of 1198 made that year. Comes with a later Gibson hardshell case.
