Here is a really clean example of a 1958 Fender Esquire in see through blonde. Ash body.  Maple neck with a 7.25” radius maple fingerboard and a nut width of 41mm. The finish is in good shape overall, it does show nice lacquer checking throughout. There is a few small dings and some playing wear on some of the edges. (See images). The frets are original and although a bit low there is enough and they are not pitted. The fingerboard shows playing wear and there is a couple of small marks at the back of the neck. (Nothing major and can hardly be felt while playing). Original nut and original Kluson tuners.  Top loaded bridge (not strings through body) with 3x steel saddles bridge and original cover. The neck stamp dates Oct 1958. The wiring is stock and untouched. The pots match and date 25th week of ’58. Although one date is covered by solder and can not be clearly seen the rest of the code on it is identical. There is no date stamp on the body. The only marking is the initials R.E. in the cavity under the pickguard. The pickguard has a small corner that has been glued back on. The guitar weighs 3.34Kg or 7.36Lb. Great sounding and fantastic player. Comes with the original tweed hardshell case.
