1957 Fender Stratocaster Blonde Maple Neck. Here is a superb 1957 Fender Stratocaster in see through blonde finish, factory chrome parts. This is basically what would be a Mary Kaye if it had gold hardware. In good original condition apart from a relacquer over on the neck (not the headstock) and refret. The pickups read 5.58K at the bridge, 6.02K Middle and 5.8K at the neck. The pots are Stackpole and date 23rd week of 57 (code304723). The body stamp is 1-57 and the neck stamp is 2-57. Original hardware, wiring, pots and plastics. The back plate has a couple of corners that have chipped. The original scratch plate has had a small hole drilled by the bridge at some stage and has a bit of the cutaway corner missing, it has not cracked otherwise. The guitar weighs 7.8lb or 3.56Kg. Amazing Player and killer sounding 50s strat! Comes with the original Tweed case.
