Here is a fantastic Les Paul special from 1956 in TV yellow finish. The body finish on the body is in pretty good shape with the customary arm ware patch on the edge. The neck finish is very played and worn all over the neck with the mahogany showing through. This guitar has been played all the way up the neck! There are two small screw holes and an indentation under the wrap around bridge. This would indicate the presence of smaller Bigsby flat plate or small horseshoe tremolo has been on it at some point. There are no drill holes on the rear edge by the strap button. All the plastic parts look stock and in good condition. Internally the guitar is in good shape and has retained the Bumblebee capacitors but the volume control pots do look later. The machine heads have been upgraded to a decent set of retrofits and the neck has had a pro refret. The nut width is a very comfortable 43mm and the guitar weighs 3.755 Kg or 8.28 Lb. The guitar comes with a later hardshell case.
