This is a very cool Fender Champ-amp as it was called back in 1955. Construction label dates it to April 1955. Although it has had some restoration ( lacquered finish on the tweed covering) the electrics have been upgraded to run on UK 230v. It has been fitted with a step up / step down transformer and an upgraded power cable.
Single six inch speaker. The amp has the first generation old style Fender badge on the front with flat brown grille cloth. This amp is just a delight and is still going strong after nearly Seventy years. This one goes up to 12 ! As some of you might understand.
