1948 Gibson LG-1 Sunburst Acoustic. Here's a superb late 40s Gibson acoustic flattop. In excellent condition throughout for a 75 year old instrument. The guitar is very light at 3.59Lb or 1.63Kg so it is very resonant. The lows are well balanced with the highs and the notes are clear. Excellent for fingerpicking and well suited for chords too. Honduran Mahogany back and sides,  Sitka spruce top. 50s profile Honduran mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and Rosewood Bar bridge. Tortoiseshelll pickguard. Some playing ware, a few marks and dings as expected.  No repairs or breaks. There is a slight separation line on the central top seam on the top. This has not gone through, it is mostly lacquer. The nut width is just shy of 43mm. The width at the 12th fret is just shy of 52.2mm. The guitar has had a professional re-fret job and a new period correct material nut put on. Plays very well and sounds very sweet! Comes with a Victoria Luggage HSC
